Citizenship is granted for life and can be passed down to future generations. The process is confidential, secure, and fully remote — making it ideal for investors seeking freedom, legacy planning, and international access.
St. Kitts offers three secure routes to citizenship:
$250,000 donation to the Sustainable Island State Contribution
$400,000+ real estate purchase in approved developments
$250,000 Public Benefit Project contribution
Use our Quote calculator below, the world’s first real-time CBI pricing tool — to instantly compare all routes and download your tailored quote. All payments go directly to government escrow, never to us. We provide full cost transparency with no hidden fees.
You can include:

The process takes 6–8 months and is fully remote:

Final payment
Passport issued
All steps are handled by Free From Borders, with no need to visit St. Kitts at any stage. Government-certified documentation, secure channels, and real-time updates ensure peace of mind throughout.
As the Caribbean’s gold standard CBI program, St. Kitts delivers unmatched credibility. Citizens benefit from:
0% income, capital gains, inheritance, and wealth tax
CARICOM-wide free movement
Access to UK consular support
EU/UK banking and education advantages
World-class Trust Law for asset protection
This isn’t just a passport — it’s a legacy of freedom, global leverage, and lifelong security.

The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) in Saint Kitts and Nevis is responsible for processing all applications and conducting thorough due diligence. Upon approval, applicants over 16 years old may be required to attend a mandatory interview, which can be done virtually (the default option) or in person at a location designated by the CIU and approved by the Board of Governors.
Interviews are conducted by an independent professional firm contracted by the CIU, which also performs background checks. All background checks are commissioned by the CIU and carried out by independent professional firms in Europe, the UK, and the USA in line with the Board of Governors' requirements. Applications will be rejected if an applicant provides false information or omits relevant details.
The approval process typically takes about 120 days (or 4 months) from the submission of the application to the issuance of the passport. After approval and the completion of the required investment, applicants receive a Certificate of Registration confirming their citizenship. This certificate must be collected in person in Saint Kitts and Nevis or at a designated embassy or consulate approved by the Board of Governors.
Once you have the Certificate of Registration, you are entitled to receive your passport.
Yes, you can obtain a St. Kitts passport while retaining your current citizenship, as Saint Kitts and Nevis legally recognizes dual citizenship.
However, keep in mind that not all countries permit dual citizenship, and your country of current citizenship may not allow you to acquire citizenship elsewhere. If your country does not allow it, the only way to hold multiple passports would be to renounce your existing citizenship.
The legal foundation for the Citizenship by Investment Program in Saint Kitts and Nevis is established under the Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship Act, 1984 (No. 1 of 1984), along with the accompanying Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Regulations, which have been amended periodically. This legislation outlines the requirements, procedures, and benefits associated with obtaining citizenship through economic contributions to the country.
At present, the St Kitts & Nevis passport offers visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or ETA access to the countries listed below. Please note that these are subject to frequent changes and may be updated periodically.
